1What happens during the first appointment?

The first consultation will be approximately 90 minutes long. Please allow for 2 hours to ensure that we have enough time to explore important issues. During this appointment Dr Miric will take a history and make an assessment. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your first appointment.

Payment is to be made directly after the first appointment with either a credit/debit card or cash. You may then submit the claim to your medical aid. Please check your benefits with your medical aid, since the full amount may not be covered. Subsequent appointments may be paid via credit card/cash or submitted to Discovery Health / Bankmed at Discovery Health /Bankmed rates.

2What happens during the follow up consultations?
Follow up consultations are between 20 – 60 mins depending on the individual needs of the patient and regular follow up is encouraged especially in the first few months of treatment. Patients who are receiving medication from Dr Miric need to be seen at least once every six months.
3Which medical aids is Dr Miric contracted to?
Dr Miric is contracted to Discovery Health and Bankmed medical aids. If you are on one of these medical aids and have funds available your first and subsequent appointments will be covered in full. Regular clients are welcome to discuss if it’s possible to submit directly to medical aid. Please note any payment not made by medical aid remains the patient’s responsibility.
4What is Dr Miric's cancellation policy?
If you must cancel or reschedule an appointment, Dr Miric requires at least 24-hour notice. Cancellations that occur with less than 24-hour notice or failure to show to an appointment will be charged the full fee for the session.
5Where does Dr Miric work?
I work at 75 Oxford Rd, Saxonwold and I admit patients if needed to Akeso Parktown Clinic.
6What age patients does Dr Miric see?
Dr Miric sees patients over the age of 18 years old.
7What are Dr Miric’s special areas of interest?
Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Women’s mental health conditions, Post traumatic stress disorder.
